Welcome to the Little Grill

The Little Grill has been a restaurant in Harrisonburg, Va’s North End since the 1940s, and a worker owned collective since June of 2003. We offer a wide variety of delicious and healthy home cooked meals with vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. We are open six days a week, serving breakfast from 7am-11am Tuesday-Friday with dinner specials starting at 5pm. Saturday we feature breakfast from 7am-12pm and serve lunch until 3pm. Our Sunday Brunch means you can join us at any point between 9am and 2pm and order breakfast all day!

Congratulations to Erik Sutt! Winner of our Ketch and Critter Raffle!

Erik and Sarah are the lucky winners of the last pair of tickets to Ketch and Critter, and get to attend this sold out show this coming Saturday afternoon. They’re both big fans of Old Crow and as Erik puts it “Sarah is an Old Crow FREAK”, so they’re sure to have a good time this weekend. Thanks to all who participated in the raffle. Little Grill is riding the wave of the future with our brand new iPhone App! The App allows you to view breakfast and dinner menus, see restaurant pictures, our blog, and even take a short quiz! It makes life quite convenient for those interested in take out. We were fortunate enough to be featured in an article in the Daily News Record on Tuesday.

Harrisonburg Bus Transit Comes our way!

Harrisonburg introduced the “Transfer Hub” just this year. Little did they know how they’d be helping the community get a little bit more of the Little Grill! Routes 1-5 now make a stop in the Rose’s Shopping Center, directly across from our restaurant. Students traveling from JMU can take buses 2 or 3 from Godwin and come on down for some delicious pancakes, mexi night, etc.

Happy 8th Birthday to the Little Grill Collective!

Well June always happens to be a time of celebration for us at the Little Grill. The reason? Well who wouldn’t want to celebrate? The weather is beautiful, schools out for the summer, and the great outdoors are calling all our names! But the real reason we turn to celebration this time of year is because it’s The Little Grill Collective’s BIRTHDAY! In 2003 the collective began and we at the Grill dubbed ourselves “worker-owned”.
Thank you everyone out there for all your support for these 8 lovely years, and the hopefully many years to come!

What are recycled t-shirts, you say? Well, glad you asked! We go to thrift stores to find blank gently used t-shirts in all sizes and colors. Then we get them printed with our design at Laughing Dog, our local printing company. This is how we can offer you wonderful LGC t-shirts for not too much mula while also trying to do our part in saving resources for our planet! yay! The sooner you come in the better as the selection is most plentiful right NOW!
